It all began when...

Kenny Loggins was entertaining in local clubs gathering toys for needy children when he met Barbara Tellefson. After learning about the "Unity" concept he agreed that parents should have the joy of shopping for the gifts they want for their children. In order to help even more families, Kenny joined forces with the Unity Shoppe so enough merchandise could be collected for everyone who needed it!

The " Unity Telethon " was born

This Telethon creates " Magic " as it encourages people to work together in a community effort.

During early December, the telethon inspires people to "care, share, and give."

Local celebrities, corporate friends, sponsors, businesses, service clubs, community orgavizations, schools, churches and over 7,000 volunteers unite to raise enough funding to help children, seniors and families with needed food, clothing and holiday gifts year round.
