CLOTHING, FURNITURE, AND HOME GOODS

In addition to groceries, our clients look to us for help with clothing, personal items, and other essentials that strain under-resourced budgets.

WHAT TO DONATE

  1. Clothing must be “like new” or in “very good condition.” No rips, tears or stains.
  2. Small household items must be in good (working) condition.
  3. Furniture donations will be accepted on a limited basis and will require that the donor send a photo of the item via email to pickup@unityshoppe.org or via text to 805-886-5625. If approved, Unity Shoppe will respond to schedule a pick-up.
  4. WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING FOOD DONATIONS FOR OUR GROCERY STORE. Food donations can be dropped off at 1401 Chapala Street, M-F, 10am to 5pm.

HOW TO DONATE

There are two ways to make a donation: drop-off and via a Unity pick-up:

  1. Donations can be dropped off at 1401 Chapala Street, M-F, 10am to 5pm.
  2. Unity Shoppe drivers are available to pick up oversized items or large quantities of donations during regular business hours, by appointment only.

“I needed Unity Shoppe for food approximately 20 years ago. I came in feeling like an outsider, but the people who helped me were very nice – I’ll never forget it. Please accept this small donation; I’m still very grateful for the help I received back then.”
